On Wednesday December 11th, 2024, the DC Long Term Care Coalition’s Workforce Committee hosted the State of the Workforce Symposium which highlighted the current workforce crisis and brought legislative, healthcare leaders and stakeholders to the table to create dialogue on the most pressing issues affecting the workforce shortage in Washington DC. Our Workforce Committee Chair, Claudia Schlosberg, gave an impactful presentation where she highlighted her findings following a report that showcased the underlying causes and unsustainable condition of the current workforce crisis. The symposium ends with a Call to Action that asks everyone to Join the Coalition and Share Your Story as ways to support our fight to reverse the workforce crisis.
