Testimony
One of the most significant ways to advocate for Long Term Care is by participating in Public Hearings. Giving testimony allows the public to represent their causes and have a significance in policy implementation. Testimony, both spoken and written, gives the public the opportunity to share their stories and/or statistics to influence a positive direction in public policy.
The Coalition is composed of active participants in hearings, making a positive impact on Long Term Care. Speaking to our Councilpersons is a significant exercise of the public’s freedom and check on government power. The Coalition strongly encourages its members to continue giving testimony, as well as members of the community for whom they advocate.
